Hello, salut, goeiendag !
We would like to share with you the exciting news of a new coworking space in Brussels. Jean-Yves Huwart and Anis Bedda, two members of the late Hub Brussels have lead this project so far and have put it on the rails, now it is time to share it with the community and open it up for contributions and co-creation.
The space we have secured for this venture is the building previously known as “Solvay Sport”, a beautiful Expo 58 style building located in 80 Av du pérou, 1000 Brussels and surrounded by a gorgeous parc, with centenary sequoias, playground area for children, pétanque area, terrasse, Veranda etc.
The project is called transforma bxl as we give a second life to this building and transform it into a space for entrepreneurship and innovation where a community of entrepreneurs, doers and changemakers can find a home. A community in the image of Brussels: multilingual, english speaking, french speaking and dutch speaking.
Naturally, we would like this project to be empowered by the community in all the stages of its creation:
- Co-designed and co-created
- Crowd funded
- Content sourced in the community for workshops, conferences, talks, meet ups etc.
